It never fails that when Charlie is gone life gets interesting here on the farm. Our sweet "Dink" a geriatric romney wether started his decline and passed over. We ran out of propane so there is no hot water. I have the wood stove but can't seem to get the darn propane heater going again. I had a cold night last night and needed more covers since the fire died down in the night Burrr it was cold to the tune of 18 degrees.
To top things off last night a man crashed a vehicle between our place and the neighbor's house. I was not home at the time. The report is that it was a pretty bad looking accident and Ralph our neighbor said he was amazed the kid got out alive. Well this teenager took off into OUR pasture and didn't wait around for the police. This is a bit creepy for me knowing that someone is at large possibly on our land. Fortunately for me Molly "could" act intimidating to an intruder.
Mamasalsa came out to visit Monday afternoon and has done another photo album if you care to see a snap shot of my life. There are baby bunnies, Charlie's sawmill, a sycamore log he is working on, pictures inside the rabbitry all featured on the link below. Charlie will be home tomorrow. I will be happy to see him.
